After much deliberation and many evenings spent pouring over reviews and reports on the safety and benefits of CBD oil, I decided to try a mild strength by a very well known brand. Koi is an American company that was established in 2015 with the goal of setting a standard of quality for CBD products. Today they have over twenty thousand followers on Instagram with an international army of social media influencers and wholesale affiliates. Since there was a myriad of testimonials and advocates for this brand, I thought Koi CBD would be the best option for my first attempt with CBD. Below I have outlined my experience with the Koi Pink Lemonade Flavour 100mg CBD Vape Oil.

Choosing CBD Vape Oil
My biggest question when I decided to try CBD was “How do I know which type and strength to get?”. There are so many options available today since the CBD business is booming, but it can leave newcomers feeling a bit overwhelmed and unsure. As I mentioned, after I had decided upon Koi as the safest option (for someone who was slightly sceptical) I browsed the various products searching for a method of taking CBD that would suit me. Vape oil seemed like a good idea as I had used a Vape previously when I was giving up smoking, so I was familiar with the technique and already owned a vaporiser. Choosing a flavour is easy but choosing the strength of CBD was my biggest challenge.

Picking the Right Strength of CBD
Since Koi is an American company and I live in the UK, I knew I would have to purchase my Koi CBD vape oil from one of the Koi UK affiliates. As my colleague had recommended SoCBD, a Glasgow based e-commerce store, and it sells Koi I decided that was my best bet. The strengths available are 100mg, 250mg, 500mg, and 1000mg. All of the Koi CBD oil can be used as a vape oil, so they are listed on the CBD oil page. As it was my very first time I went for the 100mg. By doing so I knew that I wouldn’t risk any adverse effects (although I couldn’t find any reports or research that reported any adverse affects whatsoever) and also wouldn’t waste money if I didn’t feel any benefit at all.

Initial Thoughts
Koi branding is amazing as all the CBD oil comes in little black dropper bottles with the iconic Koi fish plastered on the front, in the colour that corresponds with the flavour inside. As I chose pink lemonade flavour, my Koi fish was of course pink. The dropper bottle has a child safety lock on it, which is expected, and once opened you simply lift up the lid and squeeze the CBD vape oil into your cartridge through the dripper. When vaping, the flavour is understated which I prefer but for those looking for something overpoweringly sweet, this may not be the product for you. Initially it is extremely smooth to smoke with no physical reactions and definitely no psychological reactions (all Koi products are THC free).

Overall Opinion
I really like Koi as a brand. The pink lemonade vape oil is tasty and very smooth. As an ex-smoker who doesn’t have any nicotine cravings whatsoever, but during social events has an inclination to smoke with friends, I find it’s a perfect replacement for cigarettes or vape juice that has any nicotine or other unknown substances in it. Any time I feel the urge to go outside with my friends to smoke, I take my Vape and inhale pink lemonade flavoured CBD oil instead. This way I am much healthier and am reaping the benefits that comes with CBD.

Health Benefits
Although I have not experienced any alleviation of my inflammatory problems, I have found vaping CBD to be relaxing. What may be significant in this trial is that I suffer from anxiety and panic disorder. A few days ago when I was feeling anxious about a work related problem, I took out my Vape and smoked it for five or ten minutes. Admittedly, I did seem to relax and the physical symptoms were certainly reduced. After this revelation I decided it would be good to try a higher dose of vape oil on my next purchase to see if I found even further relief from my anxiety symptoms. Vaping is said to be one of the quickest ways to administer CBD oil as it is inhaled into the bloodstream. For this reason, I personally think that vape CBD oil is right for me when using it to relieve me of anxiety when I am about to have a panic attack. However, vaping also tends to require topping up more often than dripping tincture or taking CBD tablets, for example. So, for longer term effects I knew I had to try a different method, which is what led me to the SoCBD 1000mg full spectrum CBD Oil.
